• Introduction to Knitting

  Duration: 90 min; $75; Introduction to Knitting: What skills are needed for this Intro to Knitting class? None! You don't even have to know how to pronounce the word "knitting"! (The "k" is silent). Jump start you knitting hobby and learn all the basics in this comprehensive introductory class. You'll learn all the basic stitches, including the knit stitch and purl stitch. You'll also learn to cast on, bind off, and tinkle. Plus, your instructor will teach you common knitting terminology, so that last sentence might actually mean something to you! With your new knitting skills, you'll be able to knit all sorts of things, including mittens, hats, and scarves. They'd all make wonderful presents. You could also think outside of the box and make something really weird! Like a knitted dog house, or a knitted sack of potatoes. Just suggestions. Cancellation Policy: Class fee is refundable or transferable if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellation occurs within 72 hours of class, a refund can only be granted if Fibre Space is able to fill your vacant spot. If not, unfortunately, a refund or credit cannot be granted. Classes with fewer than three students may be canceled or rescheduled for insufficient registration.

• Introduction to Crochet

  Duration: 2 hours; $80; Introduction to Crochet: Do you have any friends or babies in your life? Or even better, friends that ARE babies? If you just answered yes, (and you probably did, because we really tried to include everyone there) - you should seriously take this crochet class. Whether you're making a baby blanket or scarves for your buddies' holiday, crochet really is a wonderful way to make affordable, heartfelt gifts. Take this class and get a headstart on your toboggan hat. You'll cover the basics of crochet and learn to make an adorable blanket for baby or home! Beginners and seasoned knitters are both welcome - you can begin a new craft or better your knitting technique! It's time to learn the skills you've always wanted to hone with knitting: the craft that keeps on giving. Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds; all sales are final.
